Leaving Hue
This morning at O Dark 30 we leave our beloved, somewhat warm city of Hue (yesterday it was apparently over 103 here). Next stop - Nha Trang south, and on the coast. Fresh Focus on Students
Today we enjoyed a visit with faculty members and graduate students at Hue National University’s College of Education.  It was, I think, one of the better visits so far.  As I reflect on it, I think the reason I appreciate it more than the others is that the faculty members seemed to convey a genuine concern for the development of Vietnamese students over that of the economy.  We did hear many of...

Today we visited Hue University College of Foreign Languages, which is a regional university. Many young lecturers joined us in the meeting, and it is surprising to learn that some of them just graduated from this college as an undergraduate and stayed as lecturers in the same program that they graduated from.
